A quick one - doc.PostedDate in Java Agent...
This is just a quick post so I remember my findings somewhere later down the road. One of my customers built an agent that sends out automated e-mails in Domino by a Java Agent via a technical users mail file.
Yesterday, they came to me asking why all of the emails they are sending out are going to the Drafts Folder in the respective Mail file. After googleing around a bit, I found that this happens when the newly created document in the mail file does NOT have a field called "PostedDate" with a date/time value in it.
So after adding two lines of code to the java agent, the customer was happy:
DateTime dt = session.createDateTime("Today"); doc.replaceItemValue("PostedDate",dt);
You learn something every day ;-).
